Maybe the most perfectly expressed theological hymn!
What do you think of this?
lyrics:
My Lord, I did not choose You,
For that could never be;
My heart would still refuse You,
Had You not chosen me.
You took the sin that stained me,
You cleansed me, made me new;
Of old You have ordained me,
That I should live in You.
Unless Your grace had called me
And taught my op’ning mind,
The world would have enthralled me,
To heav’nly glories blind.
My heart knows none above You;
For Your rich grace I thirst;
I know that if I love You,
You must have loved me first.
Kevin... we're singing this at our conference in May (hope you can come).
John... check out our conference and then sign up and bring as many as you can!

Wow, what a wonderful hymn! What a blessing to find one that's actually so theologically correct in the area of Calvinism! Where did you find it?
I look forward to singing it at the conference.
By the way, Mr. Morse, I've been meaning to ask you something. Mr. Poe has put my father and I in charge of the resource table during the coference. Are there any resources you would like me to order? I have the name of the man through whom Mr. Goodpaster ordered all of the free things from Chapel Library. They have a lot of family worship booklets that would be perfect for the people coming to the conference. Also, as you know, Vision Forum has many CD sets and books on this very topic. If you would like me to order any of these items, please let me know. There's a book entitled "A Church in the House" that was written by Matthew Henry(with a forward by Scott Brown) that I have a duplicate copy of that I was going to put on the resource table. If you'd like me to order more copies of this, just let me know.
Have a blessed week,
Rebekah Shadoin
I'm not sure if I can plan that far into the future with any certainty. But I'll try my best to be there.
What a wonderful hymn. Where may I find the sheet music to this hymn?
